Braille Card Distribution Drive

Inspired and motivated 100 youth TOWARDS VOLUNTEERING

Our volunteers had organized a Braille Card Distribution Drive at Aluva Blind School ​on January 3, 2024, in Ernakulam. Two incredible volunteers, Akshay Mallissery and ​Mahamood Salman Sulfikar, came together to distribute Braille cards to 40 students, ​spreading New Year wishes. Alongside 9 teachers, we also had a fantastic time ​creating New Year decorations with the students. The Braille cards, crafted with love ​by the employees of TATA Communications, added a special touch to the day. We ​extend our sincere appreciation for their incredible efforts and dedication! A big ​shoutout to Akshay and Mahamood for coordinating the program seamlessly. We're ​immensely proud of our team and excited about the positive impact we're making in ​Ernakulam!

School Renovation Program

Inspired and motivated 100 youth TOWARDS VOLUNTEERING

We're overjoyed to announce the success of our 12th School Renovation Program, a ​collaborative effort with Kerala Forest Department (Thirunelli) and Gothra Bhumi, held ​from January 5-8 at Nagamana Anganavadi, Wayanad. A heartfelt thank you to our 17 ​dedicated volunteers who poured their hearts into revamping the anganwadi and ​creating an inspiring learning space for 15 students from the tribal community. This ​marks another milestone in our journey of community service, and we're thrilled to ​have made a positive impact on young minds once again. Huge appreciation to the ​Forest Department officers for their unwavering support and for organizing enriching ​experiences like the tribal community visit and the trek to Brahmagiri Hills. Special ​recognition to Shamlath for orchestrating the camp, and a big shoutout to Akshay and ​Adarsh for their outstanding support.

Food Donation Drive for Shelter Dogs

Our hearts are full of gratitude! Yesterday, on January 13, 2024, our amazing ​volunteers organized a Food Donation Drive for Stray and Shelter Dogs at PAWS ​Animal Shelter, Thrissur. With the collective efforts of 14 compassionate souls, we ​managed to raise funds and distribute nourishing meals to over 100 stray and shelter ​dogs. The dedication of our volunteers in Thrissur is truly commendable, showcasing ​their commitment to making a positive impact on the community. A special shoutout ​to Amaana, whose coordination played a pivotal role in the success of this initiative. ​Your efforts are a shining example of kindness and generosity. We're immensely ​proud of our youth-led initiatives and look forward to witnessing more impactful ​projects that make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Beach Cleanup Drive

We were thrilled to learn that Fathima Quraisha @gulmakai_dweep from Lakshadweep ​initiated a Beach Cleanup Drive after being inspired seeing by our volunteering posts ​on Instagram The Gahniam Al Mufthah Ayalkoottam and Little Flower Balasaba joined ​forces for the "Clean Oceans, Brighter Horizons Beach Cleanup Drive" on January 15, ​2024, at Chetlat Island, UT of Lakshadweep. 16 children and 5 volunteers united to ​responsibly collect 105 kg of plastic waste from the beach. After the cleanup, Bathing ​Kits were distributed to the children.We're inspired by the initiative and applaud the ​dedication of Gahniam Al Mufthah Ayalkoottam and Little Flower Balasaba volunteers. ​Special shoutout to their mentor Mrs. Lakshmi Kuttiyamma, President Mrs. Fathima ​Quraisha, Secretary Faseela MI, and Educational Volunteer Marjanath, and Raseena ​TK.

Beach CleanUp Drive

We joined hands with Suchitwa Mission and National Service Scheme of Thiagarajar ​Polytechnic College for a Beach CleanUp Drive at Azheekode Munakkal Beach in ​Thrissur! A whopping 255 volunteers came together, gathering 70 sacks of non-​biodegradable waste, totaling around 200kg! Their dedication to our environment is ​truly inspiring. Huge shoutout to the amazing students of Thiagarajar Polytechnic ​College for their enthusiastic participation! Our collective effort made a significant ​impact, highlighting the importance of community action in preserving our coastal ​ecosystems. Skill Development Training Program

We have just concluded a 4-Day Skill Development Training Program under Project ​Kaushal, a collaborative effort with VolGuru and VFS Global, held at Government ​Polytechnic College Chelakkara, Thrissur from January 30 to February 2, 2024.

Over 180 enthusiastic students actively engaged in more than 16 dynamic sessions ​aimed at enhancing their soft skills and preparing them for future opportunities. The ​curriculum was extensive, covering various topics such as Personality Development, ​Attitude and Motivation, Self-Esteem Building, Basic Finances, Budgeting, Investment, ​Communication (both Spoken and Written), Problem-Solving, Networking, Time ​Management, Leadership, Resume Building, Self-Grooming, and Interview Skills. Awareness Program On Personal Health

Our volunteers Catherine Hendry organized an Awareness Program On Personal ​Health & Cancer Care on February 9, 2023, at PHC Thammanam & Anganwadi ​Thammanam in Ernakulam. Around 3 volunteers came together to support the ​program aimed at personal health and hygiene, including breast cancer awareness, as ​part of Cancer Day on Feb 4. Approximately 20 people attended the session, focusing ​on how to prevent breast cancer, available treatments, and managing health and ​hygiene effectively. Street Wall Painting Drive

We had organized a Street Wall Painting Drive in collaboration with SUCHITWA ​Mission and Kochi Corporation on February 24-25, 2024, at High Court Water Metro ​Walkway, Ernakulam. Around 27 volunteers came together to beautify the streets of ​Kochi through their artistic skills. Their dedication, creativity, and hard work were truly ​commendable, and their efforts have left a lasting impression on the community.mWe ​are incredibly grateful for the passion and enthusiasm shown by each volunteer. We are thrilled to share that on February 18, 2024, we collaborated with Suchitwa ​Mission Kerala @suchitwamission for the #YouthMeetsHarithakarmasena Campaign, ​covering all 14 districts of Kerala. Over 1200 volunteers and 400 Harithakaramsena ​members came together to raise awareness about sustainable waste management ​practices.The campaign was a massive success, with volunteers and ​Harithakarmasena members visiting households to collect waste and demonstrate ​proper waste segregation methods. This hands-on approach not only educated the ​community but also inspired action towards a cleaner environment. A key highlight of ​the campaign was the unity and enthusiasm displayed by the participants, ​culminating in a lively flash mob on the Malinya Muktham Nakakeralam Theme Song. ​This moment of togetherness underscored the importance of collective effort in ​achieving our environmental goals. The youth team played a pivotal role in the ​campaign, developing suggestions for branding and enhancing Harithakarmasena's ​efficiency.

We organized The Gratitude Fest '24 in collaboration with Hestia'24 of TKM College of ​Engineering in Kollam on May 4-5, 2024. Around 1000 volunteers participated in ​various activities aimed at expressing gratitude to the community. Volunteers were ​engaged in Seed Ball Making, Paper Bag Making, The Gratitude Letter Making, Braille ​Card Making, and Donation Drives.
